Dave’s Dogs was born in 2014 when Dave set out to escape the routine of his 9–5 and channel his creativity into something meaningful. Inspired by the classic American hot dog, he set out to elevate it with bold, imaginative toppings and big flavor.

Starting with a small hot dog cart on Milpas Street in Santa Barbara, Dave sold just six hot dogs on his first night. What began as a modest side project quickly gained local attention, fueled by community support and growing word-of-mouth.

In 2017, Dave took the leap to pursue his passion full-time, opening the first brick-and-mortar Dave’s Dogs location on Turnpike Road.

Dave is endlessly grateful to the community and day-one supporters who made this journey possible.
